It is with great gratitude that I thank you for entrusting your children to Islamic School of Irving for their 2023-2024 educational journey!
To our new families, welcome to the Islamic School of Irving, a school of distinguished excellence, we are grateful that you have chosen our school community as your family. For our long standing school community members, welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year! We can’t wait to continue making great things happen with you in academics, sports, robotics, competitions, and more.
Nothing, after pleasing Allah, can bring us more pleasure than continuing to serve and teach you.
On Thursday, August 10th, ISI will host the Secondary Grades Back to School Night for students going into grades 6th thru 12th. We look forward to seeing you @ 2:30 pm inshAllah.
On Friday, August 11th, ISI will host the Elementary Grades Back to School Night for students going into grades Pk3 thru 5th @ 3:30pm inshaAllah.

Secondary Back-to-School Night Agenda:
2:30 pm Meet and greet teachers and drop off supplies, directions will be given in the lobby upon arrival
3:30 pm 9th grade orientation in room 231 AB
4:30 pm Welcome and update from School Leadership: Topics include but are not limited to: this year’s focus, introducing new staff and faculty members, school policies, uniform, arrival, dismissal, lunch, schedule, salat, athletics, competitions, clubs, electives…and more.
5:45 pm 10th grade orientation in room 231 AB. For grades 11 and 12, Academic Counselor will meet with students individually.
Elementary Back to School Night Agenda:
3:30pm- 4:45 Parents and students will be greeted by staff at the front door, we understand that many would like to avoid Jumaa traffic so arrival time is flexible. This is a window of time to drop off supplies, find your classroom, and get introduced to your Homeroom teacher.
Upon arrival, you will receive a Back to School Night checklist and a building map to
make your way to your homeroom class to drop off your supplies (if you have them) and to meet your homeroom teacher (staff will be available to help you find your classrooms), also, you can scan a QR code to access all important back to school information.
5:00pm, the leadership team will be presenting in the main musallah (men’s prayer hall) to explain school policies and to answer any questions.
